Introduction:
We offer a range of academic programmes leading to
higher education for undergraduate degree
programmes. These programmes are designed for
those who are aspiring to start a career in a business
organisation whether local, national or international.
You may also chose to start your own business or decide
to further your education to a postgraduate level after
attaining solid foundation from your bachelor degree
programme. Our main aim here is to equip you with
cutting edge skills to compete in the labour market to
become a competent and capable manager. A degree in
Business Administration will enhance your abilities and
analytical skills in terms of interpersonal relations,
presentation, leadership and evaluation of facts to make
decisions in any business environment.
In a business scenario, decision making is fluid and
multi-dimensional. Therefore, you need to deal with
new situations every moment. The field is dynamic
rather than static and you need to be aware of all tactics
from operative level strategies to strategic planning.
Objectives:
The degree programme has several objectives and
would ensure that while studying with us you attain:
1. Understanding of the basic concepts or
techniques drawn from a wide range of
business disciplines.
2. Ability to explain and comment critically upon the
concepts and techniques in the multi-disciplinary
business perspectives.
3. Ability to identify the problem and apply relevantbusiness concepts to resolve the problem.
4. You will be able to prepare and present solutions to
business based problems and/or issues.
5. You will be able to undertake a major self-managed
activity, a project, which will address a topic of
your choice and will be relevant to your future
career
Structure and Syllabus:
There are 12 units (4 Foundation, 4 Advanced, plus 4
Specialist) to complete this degree programme. There
are four pathways to the BSc degree. These include a
general pathway and three specialist pathways:

* Should there be less than 5 students per any unit for specialization the CECOS will have the right to withdraw that unit and offer an alternate unit.
Entry Requirements:
All applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
-- Normally be at least 17 years of age at the time of
registration
-- EITHER passes in two subjects at GCE 'A' level and
passes at grade C or above in three further subjects at
GCSE or GCE 'O' level
-- OR three subjects at GCE 'A' level and one further
subject at GCSE or GCE 'O' level (not less than grade C)
-- OR two subjects at GCE 'A' level and two further
subjects at 'AS' level
-- AND demonstrate a level of competence in
Mathematics at least equivalent to a pass at GCSE/GCE 'O' level, at not less than grade C
-- AND have passed GCSE/GCE 'O' level English language
at Grade C or above or, within the last five years, to
have passed at the required standard a test of
proficiency in English that is recognised by the
University of London.
-- Overseas students must have equivalent qualification
such as Intermediate (60%), European Baccalaureate
etc. and those from non-English speaking countries
must take IELTS. Required score is overall band of 5.5.
-- Have fluent comprehension and writing skills in
English.
How to Apply:
While you apply to CECOS for full-time course,
simultaneously complete an application form for the
University of London External programme and send it to
the University directly with the required documentary
evidence, application handling fee and fee slip.
You may apply to the University of London at any time of
the year from 1 January to 17 September (if you live
outside the European Union) and up to 17 October (if
you live inside the EU). Applications received after the
September/October deadline dates will be
acknowledged and kept on file ready to be processed in
January when the new admission year begins. The earlierin the year that you apply, the sooner the University of
London will be able to process your application and give
you a decision about your eligibility.
Send your completed form with your documents and
fee/fee slip to:

We will acknowledge your application when we receive it
and forward it to University of London. Then, as soon as
they are able, they will send us a decision. If you are
eligible, we will send you an offer letter and you may
register and begin studying. If you are not eligible we will
tell you what to do to become eligible.
When to Apply:
You can submit your application at any time of the year.
However, if you intend to take your first examination(s)
next year, you are strongly advised to apply as early as
possible
If you wish to register this year, the latest date by which
your application must be received by the Undergraduate
Admissions Office is 24th August.
Please note: If your application is received after the
deadline date it will be kept on file and processed when
the new admissions year opens in January.
