The Structure of the Examination

The Examination has a modular structure, set in three parts:


Certificate

The Certificate is considered equivalent to the first year of a Higher National Diploma. It consists of a two-hour written paper on each of the three compulsory modules:

  • Information Systems
  • Software Development
  • Technology

Duration: 6 Months

Eligibility: None



Diploma

The Diploma will be examined at an academic level equivalent to a Higher National Diploma. It consists of a two-hour written paper on the compulsory core module and a two-hour written paper on each of three modules from the given in the optional modules list:

You may attempt either the Professional Project (Diploma level) or go on to the Professional Graduate Diploma.


Professional Graduate Diploma

The Professional Graduate Diploma will be examined to the academic level of a university honours degree. It consists of a three-hour written paper on each of four modules chosen from the following list. Alternatively, you can take the Professional Graduate Diploma by submission of a dissertation.
